Friday Fight Round 1
Camping caused me to skip this workout. Don’t worry though, I did one that kicked my butt and fed the mosquitoes because I got bit smack dab on the middle of my butt cheek.
I don’t condone skipping workouts BUT sometimes you have to work with what you have and move forward. I know that doubling up workouts is hard for me so instead of dwelling on it I’m going to keep truckin on!
I highly recommend this plyo box workout if you’re looking for a good push. The side plank raises has me sore! I definitely need to focus on some oblique work a little more often. Don’t have a box? I used a picnic table, if there’s a will, there’s a way!
After working out and getting snacked on, I hit the shower, then the beaches with my family. My boy, Damien, is such a dare devil!
We spent the day in worship and soaked up some beautiful ocean views. We even got to see a couple whales. Nothing more exciting than spotting a whale spout in the distance, well I guess seeing it next to you could be better, but we had a great day anyway.
My meal plan wasn’t perfect but I ate clean until these came out… ❤ ❤ ❤
Since Pulse is optional, I took today as an extra rest day. I’m not sure what is going on but my head has been throbbing for days. I hate taking medicine but Ibuprofen has been my best friend. Since we were go go go, I decided to hydrate and rest up.
While I don’t particularly enjoy seeing my last two workouts of the week as “incomplete,” I’m giving myself a break and continuing on with tomorrow as a new day. Week 3 will be spent at home and spent kicking my own bootay!
